this body of work uses ceramic as a canvas for illustration. i have used white earthenware, press moulded and mis-registered to produce the plates. the other objects are all domestic objects cast in plaster of paris and then used as moulds with liquid clay to recreate these objects. they are all covered in a transparent glaze. the images are a comparison between 1950’s imagery ideas and present day, hoping to create a certain irony between the two. i have named this series domestic bliss.
